Le nylon est largement utilis\u00e9 dans le traitement des acides gras.<br \/>\n- Acide lactique : Bonne r\u00e9sistance. Le PA66 convient aux composants de la transformation laiti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>**Implication dans la conception** : Pour les applications expos\u00e9es \u00e0 l'acide, envisager l'utilisation de PVDF (Kynar), de PTFE ou de PP plut\u00f4t que de nylon. Si le nylon doit \u00eatre utilis\u00e9, il faut limiter la temp\u00e9rature et la concentration et effectuer des essais d'immersion avant la production.<\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9sistance aux alcalis et aux bases<\/h2>\n<p>Le nylon pr\u00e9sente g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une bonne r\u00e9sistance aux alcalis, \u00e0 quelques exceptions pr\u00e8s :<\/p>\n<p>**Alcalis forts** :<br \/>\n- Hydroxyde de sodium (NaOH)** : Bonne r\u00e9sistance aux solutions dilu\u00e9es (&lt;10%) \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante. A temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e (80\u00b0C+), une hydrolyse se produit. Pour les applications fortement caustiques, le PA12 est plus performant que le PA6 ou le PA66.\n- Hydroxyde de potassium (KOH)** : Comportement similaire \u00e0 celui du NaOH. Bon \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante, d\u00e9gradation \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e.\n- Ammoniac (NH\u2083)** : Bonne r\u00e9sistance aux solutions dilu\u00e9es d&#039;ammoniac : Bonne r\u00e9sistance aux solutions dilu\u00e9es d&#039;ammoniac. L&#039;ammoniac liquide provoque des fissures sous contrainte - \u00e0 \u00e9viter.<\/p>\n<p>**Solutions de carbonates** (carbonate de sodium, carbonate de potassium) : Excellente r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 toutes les concentrations et temp\u00e9ratures. Le nylon convient aux \u00e9quipements de nettoyage \u00e0 base de carbonate.<\/p>\n<p>**Probl\u00e8me cl\u00e9 : Chlorure de calcium** - Malgr\u00e9 une bonne r\u00e9sistance g\u00e9n\u00e9rale aux alcalis, le nylon est susceptible de se fissurer sous l'effet de solutions de chlorure de calcium. Le chlorure de calcium (d\u00e9shydratant courant) peut provoquer des fissures m\u00eame \u00e0 de faibles concentrations. Ne pas utiliser de conteneurs ou de joints de d\u00e9shydratant en nylon en contact avec du CaCl\u2082.<\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9sistance aux solvants<\/h2>\n<p>**Hydrocarbures halog\u00e9n\u00e9s** :<br \/>\n- Chlorure de m\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne** : Dissout rapidement le nylon. Non compatible.<br \/>\n- Chloroforme** : Attaque rapidement le nylon. Non compatible.<br \/>\n- **Trichloro\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne (TCE)** : Attaque s\u00e9v\u00e8re \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante.<\/p>\n<p>**Hydrocarbures aromatiques** :<br \/>\n- **Benz\u00e8ne** : Provoque un gonflement \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante. D\u00e9conseill\u00e9.<br \/>\n- **Tolu\u00e8ne** : Gonflement mod\u00e9r\u00e9. Usage limit\u00e9.<br \/>\n- **Xyl\u00e8ne** : Similaire au tolu\u00e8ne - compatibilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>**Hydrocarbures aliphatiques** (hexane, heptane, essences min\u00e9rales) : **Excellente r\u00e9sistance**. Le nylon est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les syst\u00e8mes d'alimentation en carburant et les composants de traitement de l'huile. Pas d'attaque significative m\u00eame \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>**Alcools** :<br \/>\n- M\u00e9thanol, \u00e9thanol, isopropanol** : Excellente r\u00e9sistance. Nylon approuv\u00e9 pour le traitement des boissons et des produits pharmaceutiques.<br \/>\n- **Glycols** (\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne glycol, propyl\u00e8ne glycol) : Excellente r\u00e9sistance. PA66 largement utilis\u00e9 dans les syst\u00e8mes de refroidissement et les applications antigel.<\/p>\n<p>**C\u00e9tones et esters** :<br \/>\n- **Ac\u00e9tone** : Attaque mod\u00e9r\u00e9e - provoque un gonflement et un ramollissement de la surface. Non recommand\u00e9 pour un contact prolong\u00e9.<br \/>\n- **MEK (m\u00e9thyl\u00e9thylc\u00e9tone)** : Semblable \u00e0 l'ac\u00e9tone - gonflement mod\u00e9r\u00e9.<br \/>\n- **Ac\u00e9tate d'\u00e9thyle** : Attaque mod\u00e9r\u00e9e. Le PA66 ou le PA12 est obligatoire pour les composants du syst\u00e8me de freinage.<\/p>\n<h2>Consid\u00e9rations environnementales et particuli\u00e8res<\/h2>\n<p>**UV\/Weathering** :<br \/>\nLe nylon non charg\u00e9 se d\u00e9grade rapidement sous l'effet des UV - farinage de la surface, fragilisation et perte de r\u00e9sistance dans les 6 \u00e0 12 mois suivant l'exposition \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur. Solutions :<br \/>\n- Stabilisation du noir de carbone (le noir de carbone 2-3% offre une excellente protection contre les UV)<br \/>\n- Qualit\u00e9s stabilis\u00e9es aux UV avec des stabilisateurs de lumi\u00e8re \u00e0 base d'amines encombr\u00e9es (HALS)<br \/>\n- Peinture ou rev\u00eatement de surfaces cosm\u00e9tiques<\/p>\n<p>**St\u00e9rilisation par rayonnement gamma** :<br \/>\nLes composants m\u00e9dicaux en nylon soumis \u00e0 une st\u00e9rilisation aux rayons gamma n\u00e9cessitent des qualit\u00e9s r\u00e9sistantes aux radiations. Le PA66 standard perd 30-40% de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la traction apr\u00e8s une dose gamma standard (25-50 kGy). Les grades sp\u00e9ciaux stabilis\u00e9s aux radiations conservent une r\u00e9sistance de &gt;80%.<\/p>\n<p>**Contact alimentaire** :<br \/>\nLe PA6 et le PA66 sont tous deux agr\u00e9\u00e9s par la FDA pour le contact alimentaire pour des qualit\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques :<br \/>\n- PA6 : FDA 21 CFR \u00a7177.1500 (r\u00e9sine de nylon 6)<br \/>\n- PA66 : FDA 21 CFR \u00a7177.1500 (r\u00e9sine de nylon 66)<br \/>\nConformit\u00e9 au r\u00e8glement europ\u00e9en 10\/2011 disponible pour KSAN et les marques similaires.<\/p>\n<p>**Effets de l'absorption d'eau sur la r\u00e9sistance chimique** :<br \/>\nLe nylon conditionn\u00e9 (satur\u00e9 d'humidit\u00e9) pr\u00e9sente une r\u00e9sistance chimique diff\u00e9rente de celle du mat\u00e9riau sec. Dans certains cas, l'eau agit comme un plastifiant, permettant la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration de produits chimiques qui ne se produiraient pas dans un mat\u00e9riau sec.
