Phụ tùng nhựa ô tô: Nhựa kỹ thuật cho ô tô và phương tiện giao thông

Modern cars contain 200-400 kg of plastic — from nylon intake manifolds under the hood to acetal fuel system components to ABS interior trim. The shift from metal to plastic in automotive applications has been driven by weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and the ability to integrate multiple functions into a single molded component.

Glass-filled nylon 66 (PA66-GF30) has been the dominant under-hood plastic since the early 1990s. It replaced aluminum intake manifolds, cutting weight by 50% while adding integration benefits — vacuum ports, mounting brackets, and sensor bosses that were separate machined features in the aluminum design became single-shot molded features, eliminating assembly operations.

Can nylon survive under-hood temperatures?

PA66-GF30 with heat stabilizers handles continuous exposure to 130-150°C and short-term peaks to 200°C. For hotter areas near the turbocharger or exhaust manifold, PPS (260°C continuous) or PEEK (260°C) are necessary. Always specify the heat-stabilized grade for automotive — standard nylon degrades rapidly above 120°C.

What automotive certifications do your plastic parts carry?

We manufacture to IATF 16949-compatible quality systems. Material certifications (IMDS), PPAP Level 3 documentation, and full dimensional reports are available for production automotive programs. For aftermarket parts, we offer standard commercial documentation.

Can you match factory-issued plastic components?

We reverse-engineer and manufacture replacement plastic components for classic cars, discontinued parts, and low-volume vehicle programs. We can also improve on original designs by upgrading from unfilled nylon to glass-filled for better durability.

What about UV resistance for exterior parts?

Standard nylon degrades under UV exposure. For exterior automotive parts, specify UV-stabilized grades (typically PA6 or PA66 with carbon black or UV stabilizer package). PBT and ASA are also common for exterior trim due to superior UV and weather resistance.
