Grade Data for Purchasing

Ask for the current ABS CF30 TDS with test methods and conditioning. Mechanical, thermal and flame results must belong to the quoted formulation; values from a different filler level or material grade do not apply.

ABS CF30 Applications

Illustrative applications; confirm the selected grade for your part. Tap the image to enlarge.

Power-tool housings. Housing shells need screw-boss strength, impact resistance and sound weld lines. Test the molded shell under the vibration, drop and temperature conditions of the tool.

Electronic equipment enclosures. Instrument covers and equipment housings need accurate fit around inserts, connectors and ventilation openings. Carbon fiber content alone does not establish conductivity, insulation or a flame rating.

Mounting brackets and precision fixtures. Brackets, locating bases and fixtures need controlled hole spacing, flatness and insert retention. Review clamping loads, creep and fiber orientation during part trials.

Processing and Part Checks

Use the selected grade’s drying and molding instructions. Check gate position, fiber orientation, weld lines, shrinkage and critical dimensions during trials. Confirm performance on parts made with the intended tool and process.

For finished components, continue to injection molding. For a material comparison, use the engineering plastics range.

Grade and formulation selection

Share your current grade, application and operating conditions. We coordinate the material review and identify the matching datasheet for the formulation offered.

Quality documents for your order

Specify the TDS, batch records, inspection requirements or compliance files your purchasing team needs. The documents and acceptance criteria are agreed for the quoted material.

Support beyond resin pellets

For a finished component, connect material selection with part design, tooling and molding review. Start with the drawing, expected quantity and critical dimensions.

Cooperating Factory Management-System Certificates

The supplied ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates identify Guangdong Wanhan as the certified entity. Their scope concerns modified plastic granules and the related management activities; it does not certify every material grade or every finished-part manufacturing service.

Review manufacturing capabilities and quality documentation. For document approval, match the legal entity, certificate scope and quoted grade.

ABS CF30 — Frequently Asked Questions

What is ABS CF30?

ABS CF30 is ABS reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, supplied as pellets. The exact formulation and its current datasheet should be confirmed for the quoted material.

Which parts are candidates for ABS CF30?

Examples include power-tool housings, instrument enclosures, equipment covers, mounting brackets and assembly or inspection fixtures. Review the part’s loads, fastening points, surface requirements and dimensional targets.

Does 30% carbon fiber guarantee conductivity or ESD performance?

No. Carbon-fiber content alone is not an electrical specification. If conductivity or static control matters, state the required resistance range and test method and request results for the exact formulation.

Where can I get the ABS CF30 property table?

Request the current TDS for the quoted ABS CF30 grade. Values from nylon/carbon-fiber compounds, a different carbon percentage or another ABS grade should not be used as this material’s data.

What should be reviewed before molding ABS CF30?

Follow the selected grade’s processing instructions. Review fiber orientation, gates, weld lines, tooling wear and the required surface finish; confirm critical dimensions and fastening performance on samples.

What information is needed for an ABS CF30 quote?

Send the application, drawings if parts are required, expected quantity, color or appearance target, service conditions and destination. State any electrical, dimensional or documentation requirement explicitly.

Request Material Data and a Quote

Send the application, current material if available, service temperature, load or fluid exposure, color, expected quantity and delivery destination. Add a drawing when finished parts are needed.
