Pantone color cards are crucial for achieving the desired color in customized plastic components. The system provides a standardized color – matching mechanism, enabling manufacturers to accurately match colors across different production batches and ensure consistency.
When designing plastic parts, the Pantone Matching System (PMS) is commonly used to select the precise color tone. Then, master – batch colorants or pigments that match the selected Pantone color tone are used to color the plastic resin, ensuring that the color of the finished product meets the expected specifications regardless of the production time and location
